About Reel Player Highlights

 

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  My name is Ryan Gagnon,  the owner and founder of Reel Player Highlights. I started this business by combining two lifelong passions—sports and videography—with one goal in mind: helping athletes showcase their talent and take their game to the next level.

I’ve been involved in sports all of my life (soccer, baseball, basketball, and rugby), as an athlete, as a coach, and as a referee. That experience has given me a deep understanding of the game from every angle and a clear perspective on what coaches and scouts actually look for when evaluating players.

As a father of four, I’ve also spent years on the sidelines watching my kids compete in travel sports. We’ve been to countless games and tournaments across the country, and along the way I noticed something important was missing—those moments weren’t truly being captured. I began filming my kids’ games to preserve the memories and share them with friends and family who couldn’t always be there. That passion quickly grew into something bigger: a way to help other athletes tell their stories, gain recognition, and stand out.

Today, more youth sports are being recorded than ever before, often using AI cameras and new technology. But creating a polished, impactful highlight reel takes more than just raw footage—it takes time, skill, and an understanding of the game itself. Knowing where to focus, what plays matter, and how to keep coaches engaged is what sets a great highlight reel apart.

At Reel Player Highlights, my mission is to work closely with athletes and their families to create professional highlight reels that truly reflect an athlete’s abilities and potential. These videos can open doors and create opportunities, and I take pride in producing work that athletes are confident and excited to share.
